Amon Carter Stadium was the place to be for the Texas Tech game on September 16, drawing the largest crowd since the 1984 TCU-Texas clash. Tickets fetched up to $300 apiece on eBay, and thousands of fans who couldn’t get into the stadium were content to watch on TV from tailgating spots in the parking lot. The Horned Frogs won 12-3, of course, to remain undefeated.
