The TCU Alumni Association recognizes the top Frogs who personify the university’s ongoing tradition of excellence and service.
Since 1954, the TCU Alumni Association has honored outstanding alumni and friends of the university with special recognition. Of the more than 71,500 Horned Frog alumni and thousands of special friends of the school, fewer than 480 individuals have been honored. Alumni awards recipients personify TCU’s ongoing tradition of excellence and service.

Claire Taussig ’11 – Distinguished Student Award
Marc Istook ’98 – Outstanding Young Professional Award
J. Luther King, Jr. ’62 (MBA ’66) and Teresa Carter King – Royal Purple Award
Major Gen. Hugh L. Cox III ’57 – Distinguished Alumnus Award
Roy Topham ’72 (MPA ’74) – Valuable Alumni Award
LaDainian Tomlinson ’05 – Frog O’Fame Award
