Name: Taylor Slack ’14
Major: Entrepreneurial management
Hometown: Shreveport, La.
With my Fulbright grant, I will be: I will be an English teaching assistant in Malaysia.
I’m excited about this because: I am getting the opportunity to invest my heart, time and energy into the people and country of Malaysia. I am also excited to learn from them as well.
TCU prepared me for this because: Throughout my four years at TCU, I have continually been challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone. Not a year went by where I wasn’t constantly learning and growing as a person. I have been taught to think in different ways, see in new perspectives and take advantage of every opportunity. I benefited not only from the educational material taught but more so from the people that make up this university. Professors, staff, advisors and peers all have invested in me and supported me in ways that I would have never expected. I am beyond thankful for the blessing they all are.
