Oct. 11, 1930 — TCU 40, Arkansas 0
Cy Leland leads Frog romp in first game at Amon Carter Stadium.

Nov. 30, 1935 — SMU 20, TCU 14
The so-called “Game of the First Half-Century” pitted the 10-0 Mustangs versus the 10-0 Frogs with a Rose Bowl bid at stake.

Oct. 29, 1938 — TCU 39, Baylor 7
The biggest game since the “Game of the First Half-Century” in 1935 saw the Frogs romp their way to a No. 1 ranking and eventually to a national championship.

Nov. 16, 1946 — TCU 14, Texas 0
A young (only 4 seniors) and spirited Frog bunch, 1-6 entering the game, scores impossible upset over all-American Bobby Layne and national power 7-1 Longhorns.

Nov. 29, 1947 — TCU 19, SMU 19
The 9-0 Ponies, ranked second nationally, need a late Doak Walker touchdown just to tie Lindy Berry and the Frogs.

Oct. 3, 1981 — TCU 28, Arkansas 24
The Frogs march 99 yards in the final minutes to beat the No. 19 Hogs for the first time in 22 seasons.

Nov. 17, 1984 — Texas 44, TCU 23
Largest crowd ever at Amon Carter (47,280) sees Frogs wear down in nationally televised game between No. 10 Longhorns and No. 12 Frogs.

Sept. 19, 1987 — TCU 33, BYU 12
In an onslaught of Egyptian-plague proportions, crickets almost completely covered the field by the fourth quarter. After the game, clean-up crews filled more than 100 55-gallon plastic bags of the dead bugs.

Nov. 23, 1991 — TCU 49, Houston 45
Highest-scoring game ever at Amon Carter Stadium concluded the Frogs’ first winning season in seven years.

Nov. 7, 1992 — TCU 23, Texas 14
The Frogs entered the game 1-6-1 but upset the No. 20 Longhorns for the first time in 25 years, and for the first time in Fort Worth in 34 years.

Nov. 25, 1994 — TCU 24, Texas Tech 17
Victory in the last game of the season gives the Frogs a share of the Southwest Conference crown and a trip to the Independence Bowl.

Nov. 20, 1999 — TCU 52, UTEP 24
LaDainian Tomlinson rushes for an NCAA record 406 yards and school record six touchdowns.

Nov. 5, 2003 — TCU 31, Louisville 28
No. 13 Frogs stays unbeaten as the Cardinals’ last-second field goal hits the crossbar.

Dec. 22, 2003 — Boise St. 34, TCU 31
The inaugural Fort Worth Bowl saw a back-and-forth affair between the No. 18 Broncos vs. the No. 19 Frogs.
