Frogs run to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Eight TCU students and alumni laced up their shoes and ran the San Diego Rock N’ Roll Marathon in June, each raising $3,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The purple pack also raised enough money for their honored leukemia patient to travel to San Diego for the race. Participants included James Mick, Carlo Capua ’00, Joyce Heckman, Jamie Evans ’00, Jule Covert, Kelly Boyington ’00, Amy Boulware ’00 and Nikki Pellicciotti. “Fund-raising with a purpose put life into perspective for all of us,” Capua said.
