TCU Magazine Podcast: Discovering Global Citizenship
Participants in the innovative international education program share ideas on how to bring a complex and changing world into the classroom.
The TCU Magazine’s podcast series launches with an extended look at Discovering Global Citizenship, the subject of our Spring 2016 cover story.
You will hear program co-author Jane Kucko discuss her motivations for forging stronger bridges from the world to TCU. Instructor of English Rima Abunasser, reconciliation scholar Michael McRay, and James English, who runs the program’s Global Innovator component, will talk about how literature classes took a “Virtual Voyage” and found uncommon insight into the healing power of forgiveness. And environmental science professor Mike Slattery shares his passion for rhino conservation while explaining why this species matters.
