Response to The Campaign for TCU is “overwhelming,” says TCU’s top administrator.

When my family and I made the decision to come here in 2003, we knew Texas Christian University was a special place. What we didn’t realize was how very special. The Horned Frog family has shared its warmth and generosity at a level we could not have imagined seven years ago.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the response to The Campaign for TCU. Fully two years before its conclusion, the campaign has surpassed the $250 million goal established in 2006. Providing some $280 million and counting in support of this endeavor, 32,000 alumni, parents and other friends have had a transformative effect on our campus and further strengthened the remarkable TCU experience.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your support of these and many other important campaign accomplishments!

Even more amazing is the degree to which our supporters have continued to respond as new needs and opportunities have arisen. Today, many more students and their families need scholarship support than just a few years ago. As a result, the Board of Trustees recently established a $100 million scholarship goal , and the TCU community already has responded with $61 million. Support also remains strong for other high priority projects, such as academic programs and renovation of Amon G. Carter Stadium.

As a result of the campaign, we have carefully crafted an education that is so much more than the sum of semester hours. At TCU, it’s all about the people. Our students aren’t just getting a solid college education. They are living an exciting university experience.

To all who are making such a difference in the life of this great university and to our faculty, staff and students, my deepest thanks!
