Mackenna Milbourn ’18 played Elmire, shown here while attempting to expose the seemingly pious Tartuffe (John Badar) as a fraud while her hoodwinked husband, Orgon (Matthew Parker), spies from underneath a table. One of 17th-century French playwright Molière’s most famous works, Tartuffe skewers those who feign religious devotion — and those who fall under their spell.
