From the Chancellor
TCU’s culture is one of community and opportunity.
For years, we’ve all known that Texas Christian University is one of the best universities in the United States. Our commitment to providing an exceptional student experience is the cornerstone of this achievement. Evidence of our devotion to building the next generation of leaders is in our newest addition, Arnold Hall. This state-of-the-art facility in Fort Worth’s Medical Innovation District, home to the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at TCU, is a testament to our dedication to fostering future medical leaders. The building was made possible by the generosity of Trustee Greg Arnold and his wife, Ashley, who have been dedicated TCU supporters for many years.
Arnold Hall offers students the unique opportunity to seamlessly integrate classroom learning, research and hands-on clinical experience at nearby hospitals and clinics. From exploring cutting-edge technology to interacting with patients, our students are in the ideal setting to excel in the dynamic field of medicine.
Our commitment to student success begins long before students step foot on campus. Frog Camp, a beloved tradition, fosters a strong sense of belonging and camaraderie among incoming students. Over the past 30 years, Frog Camp has evolved into a multigenerational family affair, offering a variety of experiences from music-filled adventures to mountain climbing and international excursions.
Throughout the academic journey, TCU students benefit from the guidance and support of our dedicated faculty and staff. Our programs, including film, television and digital media, offer unparalleled learning opportunities. Our students gain invaluable experience and insights into their chosen fields by collaborating with industry professionals like famed writer and director Taylor Sheridan. Read about how TCU students took part in the on-campus production of Sheridan’s new series, Landman, in this issue.
At TCU, we believe every Horned Frog plays a vital role in shaping the future. You’ll also read about the Clark Society, a dedicated group of University supporters that is committed to empowering students and faculty through mentorship and financial assistance. The members’ generosity enables our University to provide the resources necessary to cultivate the next generation of global leaders.
From our groundbreaking research to our talented student-athletes and our contributions to the health care industry, TCU is making a lasting impact on the world. Our unwavering commitment to providing a transformative educational experience sets us apart. There’s truly no place like Texas Christian University.
