The October dedication of the John Justin Athletics Center — which includes a special academic center designed for student athletes — also unveiled an original seven-foot-by-four-foot mural, “TCU Horned Frog Football, 1896-2000.” Commissioned by Head Football Coach Dennis Franchione and wife Kim, the mural was produced by sports artist Ted Watts. (Exclusive matted and signed prints of the mural are available through the Athletics office for $200 plus $10 shipping and handling. All proceeds will benefit the TCU Library and the TCU Band.)
