A thick coating of cold, wet mud wasn’t enough to dampen the enthusiasm of these Frogs. Sixteen Army ROTC cadets from TCU competed in the Miller Lite Mud Run in October at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth. The boot-camp-style 10-kilometer course consisted of various feats of endurance – crawling, climbing and running – all in the mud. One of the TCU teams, Flying Frogs 1, finished fourth out of 64 teams in the co-ed division. The event raises money for several organizations, including Junior ROTC and Young Marines programs in North Texas, DFW Toys for Tots and The Fisher House.
